Oil prices edged lower this Monday during early Asian trading. Brent crude futures fell by 24 cents, or 0.23%, to $102.90 a barrel, after closing up by $2.68 last Friday.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) fell by $1.07, or 1.08%, to $97.64 a barrel, after gaining nearly three dollars during the previous session.
Both oil benchmarks have, however, increased by more than 40% this month, reaching their highest levels since 2022.
