Oil prices fell on Friday, with Brent crude futures down by $1.24, or 1.1 percent, to $107.41 per barrel by 01:48 GMT.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude also dropped by $1.24, or 1.3 percent, to $94.90 per barrel.
Brent, the international benchmark, was still heading for a weekly gain of more than 4 percent, while West Texas Intermediate was expected to post a decline of nearly 4 percent, marking its first weekly drop in five weeks.
