Oil: Brent Barrel Crosses the $113 Mark

Oil prices opened higher on Monday. A few minutes after the market opened on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), the US benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) barrel for May delivery rose by 1.78% to $100.10, while the North Sea Brent barrel for May delivery gained 1.73% to reach $113.44.
