Yesterday, Monday, in Niamey, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Professor Kamel Rezig, accompanied by the Minister of Industry, Mr. Yahia Bachir, held a meeting with Niger’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Abdoulaye Seydou. During the meeting, the two sides discussed various trade and industrial aspects between the two countries.
According to the statement: “Following the proceedings of the Algeria-Niger Joint Cooperation Commission, co-chaired by Prime Minister, Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, and his Nigerien counterpart, Mr. Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Professor Kamel Rezig, accompanied by the Minister of Industry, Mr. Yahia Bachir, held a meeting with Niger’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Abdoulaye Seydou, to discuss various trade and industrial aspects between the two countries”.
The meeting was dedicated to studying the various points addressed during the experts' meeting held the day before yesterday. It focused particularly on strengthening economic cooperation, developing trade exchanges, and encouraging industrial partnerships between economic operators in both countries, according to the same source.
