Algeria is participating in the "Alimentaria 2026" International Food, Drinks, and Food Service Exhibition, which kicked off this Monday in Barcelona, Spain, witnessing wide participation from operators and experts from around the world, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion.
This participation is marked by a special pavilion organized by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, with the contribution of several Algerian economic operators active in the export field, particularly in the agriculture and food industry sectors.
Through its presence at this international event, Algeria aims to highlight the quality and diversity of national products and promote its export capabilities. Furthermore, it seeks to enable economic operators to explore new partnership and investment opportunities and enhance the positioning of Algerian products in international markets.
Running from March 23 to 26, this exhibition constitutes an international platform for exchanging expertise and knowledge regarding developments in the food industry sector. It also serves as a space for developing trade relations and establishing partnerships between economic actors from various countries.
This participation falls within the framework of efforts aimed at supporting and promoting non-hydrocarbon exports and accompanying Algerian enterprises in accessing foreign markets, thereby contributing to enhancing the competitiveness of national products on the international stage.
