Oil prices extended their gains this Monday, with Brent crude on track to record a record monthly increase.
Brent crude futures surged by $2.43 (2.16%), to reach $115 a barrel, after closing at a 4.2% increase last Friday.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude also climbed to $101.50 a barrel, an increase of $1.86, or 1.87%, following a 5.5% rise during the previous session.
