The 2nd edition of the "Builders Confluence 2026" business forum will be held from April 4 to 6 in Algiers, featuring an agenda focused on innovation in the construction, public works, and hydraulics (BTPH) sectors, according to a press release from the organizers.
Held under the patronage of the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-enterprises, the event will take place at the Higher School of Hotel and Catering (ESHRA). It will bring together institutional partners, including Algeria Venture, the National Agency for the Promotion and Rationalization of Energy Use (APRUE), the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI), and the National Council of the Order of Architects (CNOA), as well as other public institutions, the same source specified.
The event is expected to gather public and private stakeholders, project leaders, investors, and startups, with the goal of promoting the integration of innovative solutions into projects within the BTPH sectors in Algeria, according to the press release.
The organizers indicated that the forum should also facilitate the signing of agreements and the deployment of on-the-ground solutions. A digital platform linked to the event will be launched to extend professional exchanges beyond the forum and to identify new collaboration opportunities.
The program will cover several key themes, notably smart cities, energy performance, digitalization, the intersection of heritage and new technologies, as well as issues related to urban planning and architecture.
According to the organizers, around twenty Algerian experts and members of the diaspora—based primarily in Canada, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, and Switzerland—will participate in this edition.
