Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion Kamel Rezig was received on Tuesday in Algiers by the Serbian Prime Minister, Mr. Goran Macic, currently on a working visit to Algeria. The two parties discussed ways to strengthen trade cooperation between the two countries, according to a ministry statement.
The meeting provided an opportunity to explore horizons for developing bilateral trade exchanges, particularly in areas related to export promotion and fostering partnerships between Algerian and Serbian economic operators.
According to the statement, the talks also covered the potential for expanding bilateral cooperation by encouraging the participation of enterprises in economic exhibitions and fairs. They also discussed organizing joint commercial events to showcase Algerian and Serbian products and open new perspectives for cooperation between economic actors in both countries.
In this context, both parties emphasized the importance of working together to establish an Algeria-Serbia Business Council, bringing together economic operators from both sides. This initiative aims to enhance direct communication between businessmen, explore investment and partnership opportunities, and support bilateral trade exchanges.
