The 28th International Health Exhibition Scheduled From April 8 to 11 in Oran

The 28th edition of the International Health Exhibition (SIMEM) will be held from April 8 to 11 in Oran, with the participation of over thirty countries, and will focus on medical technologies and artificial intelligence.

Organized against the backdrop of a transforming healthcare system, marked by the digitalization and modernization of hospital infrastructure, this event aims to be a strategic platform for exchange and innovation, according to the organizers.

"SIMEM is a strategic space where technological innovation, medical expertise, and international cooperation converge," it was noted.

This edition features the participation of 188 exhibitors representing over 500 firms from 36 countries, it was added. Companies from China, Turkey, Italy, Germany, India, and other European countries will present their latest innovations in hospital equipment, medical devices, and digital solutions dedicated to the management of healthcare facilities.

The exhibition thus highlights the progress of national production, particularly in the fields of laboratory reagents, technical equipment, and certain medical devices, reflecting a developing industrial dynamic.

SIMEM also constitutes a space for scientific reflection through its Scientific Days, bringing together experts, academics, and practitioners around various specialties. These include cardiovascular and respiratory pathologies, medical biology, oncology, specialized surgery, as well as medical imaging and the applications of artificial intelligence in medicine.

Furthermore, the "Talk & Show" platform will offer exchange sessions dedicated to the current challenges of medical practice and healthcare organization, addressing various themes related to the evolution of the healthcare system.
