Oil prices resumed their upward movement on Monday evening, although closing below the psychological threshold of $100 per barrel.
After reaching an intraday high of $103.87, the price of Brent North Sea crude for June delivery ultimately gained 4.37%, settling at $99.36.
Its U.S. counterpart, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for May delivery, advanced by 2.60% to reach $99.08.
