The Ministry of Youth will organize next Saturday a national challenge for children, aimed at allowing them to transform recycled materials into innovative toys, a ministry statement indicated on Tuesday.
This challenge, titled "Make Your Toy Yourself," specifically concerns children aged 8 to 12 among the members of renewable energy and environment clubs within various youth establishments across the country.
Organized under the slogan "Creativity Doesn't Need a Budget, But a Spirit," this challenge aims to turn recycled materials into innovative toys.
This event crowns the results of the winter thematic camp for renewable energy and the environment recently organized in the wilaya of Djelfa, as part of the "Youth in Motion" winter event, which aims to develop a spirit of innovation, instill a culture of sustainability, and promote environmental initiatives among youth, the same source added.
The objective of this challenge is "to instill values of environmental protection by utilizing household and cardboard waste and transforming them into educational and recreational tools, thus contributing to building a practical environmental awareness among children," the statement concluded.
