In this context, both parties discussed the acquisition of specialized AI computers (GPUs) amidst the growing demand for solutions based on Large Language Models (LLMs). They also examined mechanisms to encourage the development of local technologies in this field, aimed at both national and African markets.
The discussions also covered the training of specialized human resources, emphasizing the importance of investing in Research and Development (R&D) by leveraging Algerian expertise. Furthermore, they explored opportunities for developing local manufacturing of electronic devices and integrating micro-enterprises into the associated value chains.
Additionally, both sides considered the prospects of utilizing 5G technology by supporting the deployment of innovative technological solutions by Algerian start-ups in field applications.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties agreed to establish the foundations for "serious and effective" cooperation, involving a wider range of start-ups in coordination with the Aventure business accelerator, the statement concluded.
