The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion announced yesterday, Monday, in a communiqué, the opening of registrations for Algerian operators specialized in the production and export of food items and agricultural products to participate in the International Food Show for Africa (IFSA Africa), scheduled to take place in Tunisia from June 9 to 11.
This fair is a major event on the continent where international suppliers and large African buyers meet to facilitate market access, boost trade, and follow the latest trends in the agro-food sector within the region, the source indicated.
The event serves as an ideal platform for industrialists, retailers, catering professionals, importers, and distributors to access solutions that enhance production and meet operational needs, the ministry specified in its statement.
It also provides an opportunity to showcase the latest global trends and techniques adapted to the African food and beverage market. Hundreds of international exhibitors will present innovative products ranging from sustainable production equipment and advanced packaging solutions to specific ingredients and niche food products.
The show covers all segments of the agro-food and beverage sector, including processing and packaging techniques, the cold chain, storage solutions, logistics services, ready-made meals, seafood, organic foods, and beverages, as well as the hotel, restaurant, and café sectors.
In this context, the ministry invited operators wishing to participate to register via the dedicated link for this event available on its official website.
