Regulation of Medicine Marketing in Pharmacies: Kouidri Meets With CNOP

The Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, Mr. Ouacim Kouidri, received yesterday, Monday, the President of the National Council of the Order of Pharmacists (CNOP), Mr. Noureddine Mettioui, accompanied by council members, following their request, a ministry communiqué indicated.

The meeting, held at the ministry's headquarters, provided an opportunity to examine professional concerns related to pharmaceutical activity. Specifically, they discussed mechanisms to regulate the marketing of medicines in pharmacies to ensure their availability to patients under safe conditions, the source added.

The two parties also discussed a request for the Ministry of Pharmaceutical Industry to accompany the CNOP on a working mission to the Republic of Chad. This falls within the framework of implementing the conclusions of the official visit to Algeria by the President of the Republic of Chad, Mr. Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, at the invitation of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Kouidri affirmed the sector's commitment to continuing work within the framework of permanent coordination and consultation with various professional partners, the communiqué concluded.
