The "Khotwa Tour" fair made a stop on Tuesday at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Oran (MaMo) for its second leg, featuring the participation of more than 60 exhibitors representing universities, elite schools, and employment and entrepreneurship support agencies.
Dedicated to the guidance and training of young people, this event is part of an initiative organized by the "Win Advents" agency under the patronage of the Ministry of Vocational Training and Education and the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-enterprises. It has drawn wide participation from various stakeholders in the fields of training, education, and employment, according to the fair's organizer, Zaki Soufi.
The same source specified that this event continues a journey begun ten years ago, aiming to open guidance and training perspectives for youth and accompany them in building their academic and professional paths by providing advice and opportunities in entrepreneurship and employment.
This edition features more than 60 exhibitors from universities and private and international training institutions, along with a notable presence of student clubs. It is also distinguished by the introduction of modern specialties aligned with technological developments—such as artificial intelligence, digitalization, robotics, and electronics—while highlighting the importance of learning foreign languages, including Chinese.
The fair aims to bring together various actors from the training and higher education sectors to offer benefits and services to students in vital fields, notably banking and telecommunications, through partnerships with public and private institutions, including "Algérie Poste."
The "Khotwa Tour" activities began in Algiers on April 25 and 26, before moving to Oran on the 28th and 29th of the same month. The tour will conclude in the wilaya of Tlemcen on April 30, with the goal of bringing guidance and training opportunities closer to young people across different regions of the country.
According to the organizers, this event has become an important annual rendezvous attracting youth seeking opportunities in various fields. it is built upon three main pillars: entrepreneurship, career management, and vocational training and higher education.
The 2026 edition offers an interactive space bringing together young people, training institutions, universities, private schools, and businesses, as well as entrepreneurship support organizations. It allows visitors to discover training programs, employment and internship opportunities, and to benefit from practical workshops and conferences led by specialists in career guidance, skills development, freelance work, future professions, and digital transformation.
