The Algerian national trampoline team won four new medals (3 gold, 1 silver) in the individual events of the 2026 African Championships (junior and senior), taking place in the South African capital, Pretoria.
The three gold medals were claimed by Noureddine Belkhir and Dayane Hibon in synchronized trampoline (seniors), Nadine Fedala (junior girls), and Medrag Youcef (junior boys).
As for the silver medal, it was secured by the duo Nadine Fedala and Nada Khelouati in synchronized trampoline (juniors).
On Tuesday, the senior men's and junior girls' national teams clinched the silver medal in the team trampoline events.
In addition to Algeria, three other nations participated in these trampoline events: Namibia, Tunisia, and South Africa, the host country of this competition, which was preceded by the artistic gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics events.
