On Thursday evening, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, oversaw the inauguration of the new headquarters of the Algerian Cultural Center in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, according to a statement issued by the ministry.
The statement read: "At the conclusion of his visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, oversaw this evening the inauguration of the new headquarters of the Algerian Cultural Center in Cairo."
According to the same statement, the inauguration of the new headquarters falls "within the framework of implementing the high instructions of the President of the Republic of Algeria to reactivate the activities of this cultural center, ensuring the promotion of Algeria's cultural and civilizational presence in the Arab Republic of Egypt, strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and rapprochement between the Algerian and Egyptian peoples, as well as reinforcing communication and ties between the members of the national community and their motherland."
