Gold prices declined in early trading today, Tuesday, as spot gold fell by 0.7% to reach $4,537.54 per ounce, while US gold futures for June delivery rose by 0.3% to reach $4,538.50.
As for other precious metals, spot silver dropped by 1.8% to $76.66 per ounce, while platinum shed 0.9% of its value to reach $1,950.70, and palladium fell by 1.1% to stand at $1,382.42.
