2026 Diamond League - Stockholm Meeting : Slimane Moula to Compete in the 800m Race

Algerian middle-distance runner Slimane Moula will compete in the 800m race at the Stockholm Meeting, scheduled for the evening of June 7 in Sweden. The event is part of the sixth leg of the 2026 Diamond League, according to the entry list revealed by the organizers this Friday.

Several global stars have confirmed their attendance at this prominent event, including Kenya's Emmanuel Wanyonyi and Canada's Marco Arop, who took the top two spots at the 2024 Paris Olympics with times of 1:41.19 and 1:41.20, respectively.

This will be the first appearance in a major international event for runner Moula since concluding his recent preparatory program, where he holds a personal best of 1:42.77 over the 800m distance.

The 2026 Diamond League program includes 15 legs, the first two of which took place on May 16 and 23 in China, in the cities of Shanghai and Xiamen, respectively.

As for the remaining stages, they will be as follows: June 4 in Rome (Italy), June 7 in Stockholm (Sweden), June 10 in Oslo (Norway), June 19 in Doha (Qatar), June 28 in Paris (France), July 4 in Eugene (United States of America), July 10 in Monaco, July 18 in London (England), August 21 in Lausanne (Switzerland), August 23 in Silesia (Poland), August 27 in Zurich (Switzerland) and September 4-5 in Brussels (Belgium).
