Army General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People's National Army (ANP), begins an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman on Sunday, according to a press release from the Ministry of National Defense (MDN).
"At the invitation of Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis bin Abdullah Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces of Oman, Army General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the ANP, is beginning an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman starting today, Sunday, May 31, 2026," the same source specified.
"During this visit, the Army General will hold talks with Omani officials on ways and means to strengthen bilateral military cooperation," the MDN press release added.
