Palestinian medical sources reported on Sunday that 247 children and 191 women have been martyred since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 10, 2025, in the Gaza Strip, as the Zionist occupation continues its violations against civilians and infrastructure.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), 929 Palestinians have been martyred since October 10, including 247 children and 191 women. Sources stated that this "reflects the continuous targeting of civilians," noting that "last April was the deadliest month since the truce began, recording approximately 117 martyrs, compared to 79 in March."
The same sources confirmed that "the pace of bombardment and the rise in casualties has accelerated during the current month of May." They also warned that "the health sector is facing catastrophic conditions due to the ongoing blockade and the ban on medical supplies, which exacerbates the suffering of the sick and wounded."
Zionist occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement in Gaza by conducting further airstrikes and artillery shelling across various areas of the Strip.
