Oil prices rose by more than 2% in early trading this Monday, in light of developments in the Middle East.
U.S. crude futures increased by $2.17, or 2.48%, to reach $89.53 per barrel.
Brent crude futures also rose by $1.93, or 2.12%, to reach $93.05 per barrel.
Last Friday, Brent crude and U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) had fallen by 1.8% and 1.7%, respectively.
