General Saïd Chanegriha Visits the Military Technological College in the Sultanate of Oman

The Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, General Saïd Chanegriha, conducted a visit this Wednesday to the Military Technological College in the Omani capital, Muscat, according to a statement from the Ministry of National Defence.

The same source specified that "the visit of General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, to the Sultanate of Oman continues into its fourth day, where he visited today, June 3, 2026, the Military Technological College. Accompanied by the Omani Chief of Staff, he was received by the Dean of the College, Air Commodore Ahmed bin Khalfan al-Hadidi."

The statement continued: "The General first listened to a detailed presentation on the missions entrusted to this leading educational institution and its role in preparing and qualifying Omani national competencies. He then toured the college's various facilities, where he reviewed the modern methods adopted in the fields of technical and engineering training and qualification, which keep pace with the rapid developments in the technological field, thereby contributing to the preparation of qualified human resources capable of meeting future challenges. Following this, the two parties exchanged symbolic gifts."

He added: "The General and his accompanying delegation subsequently proceeded to visit the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, which stands as a unique architectural masterpiece with its rich collection of exquisite Arabic and Islamic treasures, remaining a testament to the authentic, deeply rooted heritage of a fraternal nation and its cultural and civilizational identity that stretches far back into history."

The General also paid a "visit to the Royal Opera House Muscat, which is likewise a leading institution in the fields of arts and culture and a living cultural center aimed at promoting global civilizational dialogue, hosting prominent international and local musical, operatic, and theatrical performances."
