The Algerian national football team has maintained its 28th position in the latest FIFA world rankings for June, increasing its points total to 1571.03—a gain of 6.78 points compared to the April rankings.

The stability of "Les Verts" in the global standings follows recent positive results, most notably the 1-0 friendly victory against the Netherlands. This keeps the team within striking distance of 27th-placed Australia, trailing by less than eight points.

On the Arab and African stages, the national team continues to hold its place among the top ranks, sitting second in the Arab world and fourth in Africa.

The top of the global rankings saw significant movement as Argentina took over the first spot, capitalising on France's friendly loss to Côte d'Ivoire. Consequently, the French team dropped to third place, while Spain remained in second.

FIFA indicated that the next update to the rankings will be released on June 11, as national teams continue to compete in friendlies during the current international break.
