An international cooperation agreement has been signed between Abbas-Laghrour University of Khenchela and De Montfort University (DMU) in Leicester, United Kingdom, the Rector of Khenchela University, Abdelouahed Chala, announced on Wednesday.
The agreement was signed as part of efforts to strengthen Khenchela University’s international engagement and to establish effective strategic partnerships, the official emphasized.
Mr. Chala told the APS news agency that the agreement, which aims to bolster the academic and scientific partnership between the two universities and support exchanges and joint research development across various fields, was signed on Tuesday at the Khenchela University headquarters.
The official added that, under this agreement, both institutions will facilitate scientific exchange visits, organize training sessions for faculty and students, and provide joint supervision for doctoral theses and research projects.
The agreement also provides for the exchange of scientific publications and references to improve the quality of research, the organization of joint scientific events and international conferences, and the sharing of academic productions and scientific output.
In conclusion, Mr. Chala stressed that this cooperation also aims to consolidate the academic and scientific performance of Abbas-Laghrour University and enhance its presence on the international stage.
