Oil prices fell on Friday, with Brent crude futures dropping by $1.21, or 1.3%, to settle at $89.17 a barrel.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude also declined by $1.23, or 1.4%, to $86.48 a barrel.
On a weekly basis, Brent suffered losses of 4.2%, while the U.S. benchmark fell 4.4%.
