The Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, chaired an evaluation meeting today, Monday, in Algiers, dedicated to reviewing the outcomes of Algerian exporters' participation in various international economic events organized under the ministry's supervision.
According to a ministry statement, Mr. Rezig praised the achieved results, noting that these participations "contributed to promoting Algerian products and strengthening their presence in foreign markets, as well as providing new business opportunities for national enterprises."
Mr. Rezig emphasized that these outcomes "reflect the success of the approach adopted by the ministry in supporting exporters and promoting national exports, in implementation of the directives of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aimed at diversifying non-hydrocarbon exports, boosting the competitiveness of the national economy, and expanding the reach of Algerian products in international markets."
The minister called on exporters to "continue leveraging the opportunities provided by international trade fairs and economic events to solidify the position of Algerian exports and diversify their destinations."
At the conclusion of the meeting, the minister reaffirmed "the commitment of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion to continue supporting exporters, listening to their concerns, and providing all forms of necessary assistance and facilities to strengthen their presence in foreign markets."
