The Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, discussed on Monday in Algiers with an official delegation from the province of Henan (People's Republic of China) the ways and means to strengthen economic and commercial partnership and encourage joint ventures between economic operators of both countries, the ministry said in a statement.
The meeting, held at the ministry's headquarters in the presence of a Chinese delegation led by the Vice Governor of Henan Province, Mrs. Zhang Min, provided an opportunity to review the status and prospects of economic and commercial cooperation between Algeria and China, specifically with Henan Province.
On this occasion, both parties examined mechanisms for promoting trade exchanges and ways to encourage economic operators to establish fruitful partnerships to diversify and boost these exchanges.
They also emphasized the importance of intensifying contacts between business communities in Algeria and Henan Province, as well as exploring new opportunities for cooperation in sectors of mutual interest to serve shared goals and strengthen Algerian-Chinese economic relations.
