The Minister of the Interior, Local Communities, and Transport, Mr. Saïd Sayoud, received on Tuesday in Algiers the Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar, Major General Nasser Yousef Al-Mal, and his accompanying delegation, the ministry said in a statement.
The audience took place in the presence of the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Algeria, Mr. Abdelaziz Ali Al-Naama, the Director General of National Security, Mr. Ali Badaoui, the Secretary-General of the Ministry, as well as executives from the ministry.
The meeting was dedicated to reviewing "ways to promote security cooperation between Algeria and the State of Qatar, to the best of the common interests of the two brotherly nations," the same source specified.
