The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a phone call on Friday from his brother, the President of the sisterly Republic of Tunisia, Mr. Kais Saied. During the call, the Tunisian leader extended his most sincere condolences to President Tebboune and the Algerian people following the tragic traffic accident in Boumerdès that claimed the lives of several citizens, according to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic.
During the conversation, the two leaders also discussed the "excellent bilateral relations between the two neighboring and brotherly countries." They concluded their call by wishing continued progress, prosperity, and well-being for both the Algerian and Tunisian peoples.
For his part, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune thanked his brother, Kais Saied, for his noble sentiments and expressed his best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of sisterly Tunisia and its people.
