The Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Mr. Kamel Rezig, presided over the opening of the first edition of the National Exhibition of Algerian Export Products on Tuesday at the Mohamed-Benahmed Convention Center in Oran.
This economic event, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, features the participation of approximately 200 public and private production companies operating in various fields, including the steel industry, pharmaceuticals, agri-food industries, construction materials, and textiles, among others.
According to the organizers, this event, which runs until January 16, aims to provide "a prime economic platform to showcase the export capabilities of Algerian companies, promote the quality and diversity of national products, and create opportunities for cooperation and partnership with national and foreign economic operators."
The Exhibition also opens up new prospects for expanding the base of national non-hydrocarbon exports, according to the same source.
