Attaf Holds Bilateral Talks with his Azerbaijani Counterpart

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held bilateral talks yesterday, Saturday, in Antalya with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Jeyhun Bayramov, on the sidelines of his participation in the second day of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, according to a statement from the ministry.

According to the statement, the meeting provided an opportunity to “evaluate the progress made in implementing the outcomes of the official visit by the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister to Algeria last November, particularly regarding the completion of the legal and practical procedures for activating the Joint Governmental Commission. This is in view of the institutional framework this mechanism will provide for bilateral relations, ensuring support for the growing momentum that characterizes them.”

The two ministers also addressed “current conditions in the respective regions of both countries, particularly the developments in the Middle East,' the same source added.”
