The President of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi, has called on the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement to adopt a "firm and clear" position regarding the Zionist entity's law concerning the execution of Palestinian prisoners.

Speaking during the 5th Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, held Sunday in Istanbul, Mr. Al-Yamahi urged for a "firm and clear stance" against this law approved by the Zionist occupation.

He emphasized in this regard that "it is inconceivable that such an international parliamentary gathering, which has always supported just causes, would not adopt a clear position against racist legislation paving the way for the execution of thousands of innocent prisoners, in full view of the entire world."

He asserted in this context that this parliamentary network "represents the conscience of free nations," adding that "the minimum expected is the adoption of a resolution rejecting and condemning this law, as well as mobilizing international efforts to prevent its implementation, while including it among the conference's final documents."

Regarding the main theme on the conference agenda, titled "Urbanization Capable of Adapting to Climate Change and Mitigating Its Effects," the President of the Arab Parliament stressed that "this issue is no longer a choice but a compelling necessity imposed by the growing challenges facing our cities," calling for the strengthening of legislative frameworks that integrate climate change considerations into urban planning.
