The Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, received yesterday, Monday, in Algiers, the Assistant Secretary of State of the United States of America, Christopher Landau, who is currently on a working visit to Algeria. The two officials examined ways to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, according to a ministry communiqué.
The talks focused on promoting trade exchanges and exploring new partnership opportunities between economic operators in Algeria and the United States, the statement noted.
Both parties also exchanged views on encouraging economic operators to establish fruitful partnerships, emphasizing the importance of intensifying meetings between business leaders. Such efforts are expected to contribute to increasing the volume of trade and developing cooperation across several sectors of mutual interest.
