The Minister of Industry, Yahia Bachir, received on Tuesday at the ministry's headquarters the Belarusian Deputy Minister of Industry, Denis Bakei, and his accompanying delegation. This meeting falls within the framework of continuing to implement the outcomes of previous encounters and strengthening bilateral cooperation between Algeria and Belarus in the industrial and economic fields.
The meeting was attended by several central executives from the Ministry of Industry, alongside the general managers of the Public Group of Mechanical Industries (AGM) and the National Iron Manufacturing Company (SNS). This gathering provided an opportunity to evaluate the progress of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the fields of agricultural mechanization and the manufacture of grain storage silos. Additionally, it served to discuss ways to accelerate the on-the-ground implementation of agreed-upon projects and to strengthen industrial partnerships between Algerian enterprises and their Belarusian counterparts.
The two sides also discussed the prospects of expanding cooperation to include mechanical industries and industrial equipment. They emphasized the importance of technology transfer and the exchange of expertise, which will contribute to supporting national industrial capabilities and increasing local integration rates.
During the talks, the two parties affirmed their shared will to continue coordination and joint work in order to transform the results of bilateral consultations into tangible industrial projects, reflecting the distinguished level of relations uniting Algeria and Belarus.
