Upon Mandate from the President of the Republic... Attaf Arrives in Seoul for the Africa-Korea Ministerial Meeting

At the instruction of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, arrived in Séoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea, to participate in the Africa-Korea Ministerial Partnership Meeting, scheduled for June 1 and 2, according to a statement from the ministry on Sunday.

The meeting, which includes African foreign ministers and their counterpart from the Republic of Korea, will be dedicated to "evaluating the progress made in implementing the outcomes of the first Africa-Korea Summit held in June 2024, as well as exploring prospects for developing this partnership and preparing for upcoming related events."

Algeria's participation in this meeting falls within its "commitment to strengthening the bilateral strategic partnership with the friendly Republic of Korea, and reflects its keenness to support efforts aimed at directing the Africa-Korea partnership toward serving the development goals enshrined in the continental Agenda 2063," the ministry statement added.
