Attaf Holds Bilateral Talks in Seoul with His Counterpart from the Republic of Benin

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held bilateral talks today, Monday, in Seoul, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the fraternal Republic of Benin, Ms. Corinne Amori Brunet, on the sidelines of his participation in the ministerial meeting of the Africa-Korea Partnership, according to a statement issued by the ministry.

On this occasion, "the Minister of State renewed his congratulations to his Beninese counterpart following her recent appointment at the head of her country's diplomacy, and discussed with her horizons for strengthening relations of brotherhood and cooperation between the two fraternal countries, in light of their initiation of exchanging resident diplomatic representation," according to the same statement.

The two ministers also "discussed a number of issues of common interest, foremost among which are the developments taking place in the Sahelo-Saharan region," the same source added.
