Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, was received today, Thursday, in Minsk by the President of the Republic of Belarus, Mr. Alexander Lukashenko, within the framework of his official visit to Belarus, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The statement explained that on this occasion, the Minister of State conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to his Belarusian counterpart, along with his wishes for health and happiness, and for further progress and prosperity for the people of the Republic of Belarus.
During the reception, the source added, both parties discussed the distinguished dynamics characterizing relations between the two countries, in light of the progress made in implementing the results of the official visit made by the President of the Republic of Belarus to Algeria in December 2025.
In a statement to the press following the audience, Mr. Attaf hailed the progress made in fulfilling bilateral commitments and emphasized the keenness of the President of the Republic to work with his Belarusian counterpart to elevate relations between the two countries to broader horizons and levels, serving the interests of both friendly nations and peoples.
