The Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, received the Saudi Ambassador to Algeria, Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Busairi. According to a statement from the Ministry, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation across various fields within the sector.
The meeting, which took place yesterday, Wednesday evening, at the Ministry's headquarters, focused on “exploring ways to promote bilateral trade and economic relations, and increasing the level of exchange to reflect the significant potential of both countries, particularly in light of the new dynamics in Algerian foreign trade and the growing interest in expanding partnerships with Arab and regional markets,” according to the same source.
According to the Ministry's statement, the two parties also addressed the importance of activating trade exchange and encouraging economic operators in both countries to establish “effective” partnerships. Furthermore, they discussed enhancing cooperation opportunities in various sectors with added value, in addition to organizing an exhibition for Algerian products in Saudi Arabia to promote national products.
