The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, affirmed this Monday that the visit of the Spanish Prime Minister, Mr. Pedro Sánchez, to Algeria represents a fundamental milestone reflecting the political will of both friendly countries to drive forward their bilateral partnership, which entails undeniable benefits.
In a joint press statement with the Spanish Prime Minister following their talks at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic, the President stated: "I express our deep satisfaction following productive talks, at a time when the long-standing relations uniting our countries are characterized by an increasing momentum. This momentum is highlighted today by this visit, which we consider a fundamental and important milestone in preparing for the 8th session of the Algerian-Spanish High-Level Meeting scheduled for next October."
The President of the Republic explained that the working and friendly visit paid by Mr. Sánchez to Algeria comes to express the "political will to provide the necessary impetus to the Algerian-Spanish partnership, which yields definite benefits for both friendly countries." He added that "the new breath characterizing our relations today falls within an encouraging dynamic to expand and intensify sectoral cooperation, as well as serving as a catalyst for businessmen and economic operators."
The President of the Republic emphasized that this visit is bound to open "new horizons for strengthening partnerships and capitalizing on mutually profitable investment opportunities."
